GuidePlaying together
Playing together
Players can join one house: each plays their own branch of the family, and the house shares its oath, renown and quests.
Joining a house
- The head of the house types
/bloodline invite <player>. The invited player chooses in the scroll that opens, or with the same buttons in chat (the invitation lasts 5 minutes):
- [Join with your family]: keep your character and ancestors; they become a branch of the new house.
- [Join as a newcomer]: start a new character in the new house; your old family's story ends.
- [Decline]
- If you were the last member of your old house, that house ends, and its oath, renown and legacy are left behind.
What is shared
| Shared by the whole house | Your own |
|---|---|
| House name, oath and acts, renown, legendary traits | Your character, traits and family tree |
| History in the Chronicle, steward and vault | Resting places and unfinished business |
| Heirlooms, blood debts, preparations, stolen heirlooms | Inn jobs and founding goals |
Working together
- On shared quests everyone's progress adds up: 12 kills from you and 18 from a friend finish "Slay 30 monsters". Whoever makes the final progress gets the reward.
- Only the head of the house can invite, remove members, rename the house and swear the oath. The Members page in the Chronicle marks the head with a crown.
/bloodline leavetakes you out of the house; you keep your character and found a new house./bloodline head <player>passes leadership on. If the head leaves, the next member becomes head.- When another player kills you, your heir gets a blood debt against them.
