A Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.3

Bloodline
Chronicles

You don't play one hero. You play a family.

When your character dies, they're gone for good, and one of their children carries on. Choose the heir, pass down the family heirlooms and keep writing the Chronicle: the book that remembers everything your house has done.

House Aldermere E M A R B I † † Isolde — current heir The Chronicle YEAR IIIYEAR IIIYEAR VII Edric laid a Barrow-Lord to rest. Rowan took up the Oathblade. The house became Established. B

How it works

One life ends. The bloodline doesn't.

  1. Live

Explore, fight and build a name. Every deed is written into the Chronicle.

  2. Die

Death is final. Your character becomes an ancestor, remembered by an epithet such as the Delver.

  3. Choose your heir

Pick one of three children. Each inherits some of your traits, and a new one of their own.

  4. The family carries on

Play on as the heir: avenge the fallen, carry the heirlooms and take the oath a step further.

What's inside

Everything your house will be remembered for

No commands to learn. Choices appear as illustrated parchment scrolls, and the Chronicle shows the rest.

The Chronicle

A book that tells your family's story. Bookmark tabs take you to the oath, your duties, the house, the family tree and its history.

Duties & renown

Every death leaves duties: settle the blood debt, visit the grave, finish what they started. Each one adds to your house's renown.

Inns & jobs

Every village has an inn, and lone roadside inns stand in the wild. Innkeepers post bounties, deliveries, rumours and more.

Barrow crypts
